2013 Memory String Kids Craft

I came across this awesome idea for making a yearly memory string on the Artyowka Flickr feed and I knew I just had to make them with my kids to finish off this year.

Instead of just drawing pictures, I let my children look through my Instagram feed from this year and choose two pictures that stuck out as their best memories from the year. I printed them out and we included them in their string of memories.

We strung all the pictures together and included some beads between each and made a string hook above the 2013 year to hang it up. 

It has been so fun seeing them hung in the house the last couple days. I love how they act as a keepsake for us to save and look back on in years to come. I think this one will become a tradition in our home.
