My preschooler recently had her Kindergarten orientation. She beamed from ear to ear as she entered the Kindergarten room, so excited about getting to be a big Kindergartner. At the orientation the teacher talked about all the things they would be learning in Kindergarten and what things they should be working on at home to get ready for Kindergarten. My daughter came home and expressed how she wanted to work on math "so she could be extra smart for Kindergarten." I just love her! I combined my daughter's love for stickers with cute bees and addition facts and put together this fun bumblebee preschool math printable for my daughter to work on her simple addition facts.

When I Grow Up Preschool Emergent Reader Printable
My preschooler has worked hard this past year on learning her alphabet. We have excitedly chartered into new territory recently beginning to blend words and learn sight words. One fun way to encourage this beginning stage of reading is with emergent readers. I know firsthand the excitement my daughter feels when she learns how to read a small book all on her own, so it's a great tool to use. The creative preschool theme this week is "what I want to be when I grow up" so I put together this fun preschool emergent reader printable. Preschool Cotton Ball Clouds Activity
My preschooler and I made a trip to the grocery store this morning in a thick fog. My daughter was having so much fun observing the fog that she insisted we drive with her window down so she could get a closer look. As we walked through the parking lot into the store she said, "Mommy, we are walking in the clouds!" Not only was I impressed with her observation but it couldn't have come at a more perfect time since our creative preschool theme this week is all about weather. When we returned home we made this preschool cotton ball clouds activity and spent the rest of the morning learning all about clouds. Make sure to check out the other preschool weather activities near the end of this post!

A big thank you to Orchard Valley Harvest for sponsoring today's post. I tend to have a serious sweet tooth! That combined with the every day busyness of being a Mom sometimes makes for a really hard time sticking to healthy snacking. Can you relate? It's so easy to grab for chips or sweet treats and on top of eating the wrong foods, it's too easy to eat way too much of them. Pumpkin Candy Preschool Math Printable
Now that my preschooler is pretty versed with recognizing and counting numbers up to twenty, I've started to introduce addition to her. Using counting manipulatives is a perfect way to help introduce addition to preschoolers. Not only is it great for fine motor skills having them grip the objects and move them around, but it also gives them a great visual of addition. Our creative preschool theme this week is all about pumpkins so it was a great excuse to buy some fun pumpkin candy and use them with our pumpkin candy preschool math printable to practice addition facts with my daughter.

Back-to-School Kids Gift (with Printable Gift Tag)
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Office Depot. All opinions are 100% mine.
When I was a child my absolute favorite store was Office Depot®. Strange for a child, I know, but I vividly remember walking into the store with my Mom and Dad and being filled with excitement over the distinct smell of paper. I have always loved the smell of paper. Maybe that explains my love of writing and keeping a journal at such a young age and even now. As we walked down the aisles of Office Depot®, the notebook and journal aisle was (of course!) my favorite. I loved holding the bound books in my hands imagining what I could write or draw inside them. Now that I'm an adult I still love Office Depot®, especially when we do our back to school shopping. This year we made out with quite a haul of school supplies for a great price and I even picked out some extra special items for my children as a Back-to-School Kids Gift. I'm excited to share them with you today along with our Printable Gift Tag that you can download and use.

Planting a Masterpiece and "Raising Good Apples" Lunchbox Notes (+ GIVEAWAY)
“This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Tree Top, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #TreeTopInc #raisinggoodapples http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV”
My daughter helped me plant some pretty flowers for my front porch last week and it made me think about all the lessons I learned from gardening as a kid. My Dad always had quite a large garden, about a quarter-acre. We learned a lot about success and hard work while working in that garden, and we also learned that even in the midst of completing a chore there is fun to be had together as a family! That garden was one of the ways my Dad made sure he was "raising good apples" in us kids. I think the satisfaction of gardening is a lot like creating an art masterpiece. You first have to prep for your masterpiece and gather all of the supplies you will need...
