Since the school year is almost over you might be starting to think about fun teacher appreciation gifts to give to your child's teacher to say thank you for a great year. I was looking at some fun yellow party favor bags in my craft closet and decided they would be perfect for holding candy or a gift card for a teacher gift. For a special twist, we turned them into a cute bee DIY teacher gift bag that is super simple to make and is just perfect for a simple candy gift or a gift card. I've also including a printable label that reads Thank you for "BEE-ING "a great teacher to complete this adorable teacher gift.

Back-to-School Kids Gift after Christmas Break
This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Newell Rubbermaid, but all opinions are my own. #pmedia #stockup4schools http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV
Christmas break was amazing this year! Playing in the snow, spending time at Grandma's house, board games and hot cocoa, going to the movie theater and playing with all of the new Christmas toys... Sadly, it was over all too quickly because school started up again. Can I just say how brutal it was getting my kids up the first day we started back! I watched them begrudgingly eat their breakfast and knew these kids of mine needed some serious motivation to get back into learning mode. Do your kids struggle to get back into the routine of school after Christmas break? This back-to-school kids gift is sure to brighten your child's day and give them the motivation they need to finish the school year out "write".

Back-to-School Kids Gift (with Printable Gift Tag)
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Office Depot. All opinions are 100% mine.
When I was a child my absolute favorite store was Office Depot®. Strange for a child, I know, but I vividly remember walking into the store with my Mom and Dad and being filled with excitement over the distinct smell of paper. I have always loved the smell of paper. Maybe that explains my love of writing and keeping a journal at such a young age and even now. As we walked down the aisles of Office Depot®, the notebook and journal aisle was (of course!) my favorite. I loved holding the bound books in my hands imagining what I could write or draw inside them. Now that I'm an adult I still love Office Depot®, especially when we do our back to school shopping. This year we made out with quite a haul of school supplies for a great price and I even picked out some extra special items for my children as a Back-to-School Kids Gift. I'm excited to share them with you today along with our Printable Gift Tag that you can download and use.

DIY Back-to-School Silly Face Sandwich Bags
This shop has been compensated by
Collective,Bias Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. I hope
you enjoy our DIY Back-to-School Silly
Face Sandwich Bags and are excited to surprise your child with them in
their school lunch. #ZiplocBackToSchool #CollectiveBias
When my oldest son started first grade and took
a lunch to school for the first time, I was super excited to pack his lunch on
the first day of school. As most parents do, I left a special note in his
lunchbox on his napkin that read “I love you xoxo.” I thought for sure it would
brighten his day. Boy was I wrong! When he hopped into the car after school the
first thing he said to me was, “Mom, why did you have to embarrass me with your
note?!” Apparently, sentimental notes like that weren’t the ‘cool’ thing for
boys. Whoops! In my haste, I knew I had to come up with a clever way to be a
cool Mom that didn’t involve love notes. One morning while packing my son’s
school lunch, an amazing idea hit me as I pulled out Ziploc® brand Sandwich bags with Easy Open Tabs. I realized I could bring a smile
to my child’s face without using any words at all, and the next thing I knew
these DIY Back to School Silly Face
Sandwich Bags were born.

Back-to-School Teacher Gift: Elmer's Glue Stick Wreath
A big thank you to Elmer's for sponsoring today's post! My absolute favorite thing about back to school time is the amazing deals on school supplies. I always feel like a giddy school child as I walk down the aisles mesmerized by all of the bright colors and fun supplies. One item I always make sure to stock up on is Elmer's glue. It's a staple not only in our home but at my children's school too. In fact, every year one of the items at the top of my children's teacher donation wish list is glue sticks. With the fantastic sales going on right now, it's the perfect time to stock up on some extra supplies and put together a back to school teacher gift for your child's teacher. I'm sharing today how we turned some school supplies into a fun Elmer's Glue Stick Wreath.
