Stick Owl Craft for Kids

Some people are ridiculously in love with cats or shoes, but me...you can call me the crazy owl lady. I love, love owls and owl crafts! The kids craft stars challenge this month is all about sticks so after collecting a few handfuls we turned them into my most favorite thing of course, an owl. This stick owl craft for kids is so fun since it is made almost entirely of nature elements. You can create an entire afternoon full of fun by going on a nature walk to collect all of your supplies and then come home to make this adorable owl craft.

How to Make Adorable Chick Finger Puppets

I know, I know...We are obsessed with puppet crafts at my house. Can you blame me though?! Not only are they a cute craft for kids to make but they are incredibly fun to play with afterwards. After we made our bunny yesterday my preschooler pointed out that with Easter coming up this weekend we just had to make a chick too. It was such a genius idea since now our cute bunnies have new friends to play with.

Foam Cup Snowy Owl Kids Craft

We love learning about all types of owls, but in the winter time Snowy Owls are our favorite. They are so beautiful and since they live in the arctic they are a perfect animal to learn about in the winter. A few months ago we shared colorful owls made from foam cups and today we are sharing the same concept, but this time we made a snowy owl kids craft. Since no painting is needed, this snowy owl craft is super simple and quick to make so it's perfect for preschool or for an activity at home. Colorful No-Carve Owl Pumpkins

We typically carve jack-o-lanterns every year as a Halloween tradition in our family but it's always a bummer that we have to wait until just before Halloween for the activity to avoid them spoiling on the front porch. A great alternative that can be enjoyed all month long is no-carve pumpkins. We have been on an owl kick this week and created these colorful no-carve owl pumpkins. Their black color makes them perfect for decorating for Halloween and the pop of color from the liquid chalk and tissue paper make them stunning!

10 Pretty Peacock Crafts for Kids

I love all types of birds, but I think peacocks are absolutely stunning! Whenever I see them I sit and stare in amazement at their bright, vibrant colors and beauty. We typically always craft male peacocks because of their famous colors and patterns, but I love the simplicity and beauty of the female peacock as well. We love to visit the zoo and a local bird aviary every summer and both have lots of peacocks, so summer is the perfect time to sit down and do some peacock crafting. Here are 10 Pretty Peacock Crafts for Kids that your kids will love making this summer!

Cupcake Liner Parrot Kids Craft

We have been having so much fun making bird crafts this week! We have already made two of our favorite birds, a peacock and an owl, and today we are sharing another favorite...a Parrot. It's so much fun for my kids when they get to visit Grandma's parrot and hear her say "Happy Birthday to you" and sing "I left my heart in San Francisco" and other fun things. Get out some colorful cupcake liners this summer and make this cute Cupcake Liner Parrot Kids Craft
