Simple Flag Craft for Kids made with Straws

With Memorial Day coming up on Monday and the Fourth of July not too far after it, it's the perfect time to make a patriotic flag craft to remember all of those who have and are serving in the military. I got out our patriotic paper straws the other day and we made this simple Flag Craft for Kids. It's a perfect little craft to keep kids occupied while you are preparing a holiday meal or attending a party.

Pumpkin Patch Art

One of my favorite crafts I look forward to this time of year with my kids is making Pumpkin Patch Art. It's become a yearly tradition, along with our Apple and Fall Tree crafts. I felt like I had to get really creative this year because it's our fourth year making pumpkin patch art, but we had a lot of fun coming up with something new and fun!

Pumpkin Cutting Practice Jack-o-Lantern Craft

I set my daughter up with a scissor practice tray cutting up orange straws the other day. She loves doing this! Plus I thought the orange color coincided perfectly with Fall time and Halloween! Little did she know I had big plans for those cut up straws to be repurposed into a fun Pumpkin Jack-o-Lantern Craft. Today I'm sharing with you how to turn a cutting practice activity into a fun textured Pumpkin Craft for Halloween.

Triangle Ship Craft and Shape Matching Game

Do you ever feel burned out from trying to find new fun and educational ideas to do with your preschooler at home? Apple Tree Craft for Preschoolers

My daughter just turned 4 years old and so over the next year we'll be focusing on practicing skills that will help her to be ready for Kindergarten while we do crafts together. This Apple Tree Craft is so simple and incorporates practicing lots of those skills so it is perfect for preschoolers.
